That's where Drawn From™ starts.

The Concept

Drawn From™ is our take on the objects we love from design, fashion, and art — the pieces that anchor a well-styled room and make you wonder: could I make that? We pick one from a brand you recognize. We place it next to a handmade version. Then we teach you to build it yourself.

Part design detective game, part guided making session, part conversation about what makes something feel expensive — and why the handmade version is often more interesting.

What You'll Do

The session opens with a welcome beverage and a facilitated look at both pieces. What are you actually seeing? Shape, scale, rim, texture, weight. What reads as "designer" and why? After we deconstruct the form together, you'll close your eyes for a brief visualization — where does your piece live, what does it hold, what does it do to a room — before putting your hands in clay.

The making session runs 75 minutes. Our instructors coach throughout; no experience required. You'll finish one centerpiece and choose your glaze from the EarthenTide palette before we close with a short group reflection.

What You'll Leave With

Your finished piece will be bisque fired, glazed to your selection, and returned to you within four to five weeks. You'll also leave with a sharper eye for the objects around you — and a better sense of what your hands are capable of.

What to Wear

Clay is clay. Wear something you can get messy, or bring a layer you're willing to sacrifice. We'll have aprons on hand.
