Two pieces sit side by side when you walk in. One is a design object you've probably saved to a board. The other is an EarthenTide recreation, built by hand. We don't tell you which is which.

What You'll Do

The session opens with a welcome beverage and a facilitated look at both pieces. What are you actually seeing? Shape, scale, rim, texture, weight. What reads as "luxury" and why? After we deconstruct the form together, you'll close your eyes for a brief visualization — where does your piece live, what does it hold, what does it do to a room — before putting your hands in clay.

The making session runs 75 minutes. Our instructors coach throughout; no experience required. You'll finish one centerpiece and choose your glaze from the EarthenTide palette before we close with a short group reflection.

What You'll Leave With

Your finished piece will be bisque fired, glazed to your selection, and returned to you within four to five weeks. You'll also leave with a new eye for the objects around you — and a better sense of what your hands are capable of.
